Investment Risks, Hidden or Not

If you want your money to work for you then you must keep up on financial education all the time. Things change and if you are not aware of it, you can cause problems for yourself. Everyday there is news about stocks in the paper and online, knowledge is power.
There are risks that are obvious and those that are hidden in every investment. The obvious ones can be found as long as you have some intellect but the hidden ones take more experience in the field. In stocks, one obvious risk is that of losing your money and another is the company might go bankrupt and if this happens the shares are worthless.
One hidden risk is the possibility of addiction to investing and this frame of mind can effect your judgment and thus you invest where you should not. If you make good money on a particular stock, you could fall in love with it and there again, you make bad judgements. Last hidden risk, the government changes its policies and it affects the stock market.
